What is Jomega ?

JOmega is an open source Java Mobile J9 WEME Library Extension. This GPL library is a JAVA-JNI-C++ wrapper for J9 IBM Java Virtual Machine CDC configuration for WinCe and Windows Mobiles that provides low level power management support, sound support , a SQL database based on Sqlite, a SDL library (http://www.libsdl.org) wrapper and many more!!!

Sun does not have done much work for mobile world. So CDC configuration is a bit vacant for enterprise and complex applications on hand-mobile.

Jomega is developed with the aim to extend the current J9 library implementation, and allow the java developer to create easy very powerful applications.

I need your help!!!!! Help me also to make a better site, i have big problems with html i prefer C++ (how you can see... ^^)

How to use Jomega?

Jomega is developed with aim to be VERY simple to use.

Install your J9 JVM on your PocketPC and download jomega.jar
Put jomega.dll into \J9\lib
Make a new project and put into classpath jomega.jar
Well you are done. Start to play with jomega :-)
